Have I absolutely gone insane? It’s possible.

Since returning from vacation a muse was trying to take my attention. I denied it as much as I could but they kept showing me this story. They continued to annoy me at the worst times.

Typically, I roll with the punches when it comes to the muse. They come when you least expect it and might not want it but if you deny them, they may stop coming to visit altogether.

BUT!

This one came in the midst of a book launch. I don’t know if you’ve ever launched a book but it is a hectic time getting all your ducks in a row. The Queen of Fire launch was more stressful than the others. That coming from a woman who accidentally released a book over a week early and to this day has no idea how that happened.

Anyway, back to my point.

Laser Bum! Sounds like a SciFi porno, if you ask me. However, it’s not. It’s a comedy! Yes. I finally wrote a comedy that is meant to be a comedy. It’s also HOT! The spice is so nice. Filthy! Just the way I love it. Here’s the kicker, it’s a Romantasy.

WHAT??!!? No way!?!!

You read that right. It’s a Romantasy. One of the most serious, dense, and formulaic genres right now—if you don’t count the hilarious author Fenella J. Rookery. Her Romantasy novellas are always a treat to read and I dare you to read it without laughing. It’s not gonna happen. Fish Wizards anyone?

Laser Bum comes at you with a thirty-six year old divorcee, who gets blasted into another dimension when she uses the wrong charger on her vibrator. Hilarity ensues, stuff happens, everyone is horny for a human and then it’s done. It’s a novella baby! Short. Sweet & to the point. No dense world building just a good, old fashioned hump, I mean romp….😁

There’s no release date as of yet but I’ll keep you posted here and on the socials. If you want it early then you’ll need to beg me 🤣 joking! Or am I? I may post an ARC request. Not sure yet.

You know me by now, and this ADHD rides something fierce. This book wasn’t planned and it knocked some projects off-kilter from the projected timeline. I think it’s worth it though because this book sows laughter into a world that really needs it right now. Who doesn’t need a good laugh right now? I do and this novella made me happy when I was struggling through a difficult time.

So that’s my pitch. What do you think?

It’s book 3 in the Horny Wizard Series. I was absolutely honored to read ARC for this book and as always can’t wait for the next in the series.
